About the project
School of Emotions is an international collaborative project between Reykjavík Dance Festival (Iceland), Rosendal Teater (Norway), and Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo / Lavanderia a Vapore (Italy). Funded by the Erasmus+ program, the project is designed for youth aged 16–20 and aims to foster emotional literacy, creative autonomy, and civic engagement through artistic and performance-based expression.
Rather than utilizing traditional educational structures, the project leverages artistic research and experimentation to explore emotions as crucial forms of personal and social knowledge. Spanning over a year across three European countries, the process culminates in a major transnational gathering during Reykjavík Dance Festival in Iceland in November.
