Sviðslistaverkið Piparfólkið fjallar um ótta við orkuskipti og reykvískan langafa sem á sér leynisjálf. 

Um listamennina
Díó samanstendur af sviðslistakonunum Aðalbjörgu Árnadóttur og Ylfu Ösp Áskelsdóttur. Markmið þeirra er að gefa hversdagsleikanum epískan blæ, og fara örlítið rangt með sagnfræðilegar og persónulegar heimildir. 

Fyrsta verk Díó, Þær spila blak Hallelúja var frumsýnt 26. ágúst 2016 á alþjóðlegu sviðslistahátíðinni Everybody's Spectacular.  Verkið hlaut tvær tilnefningar til Grímuverðlauna, fyrir dans- og sviðshreyfingar ársins og sem sproti ársins. Verkið var svo valið inn í More More More prógrammið á Ice Hot 2018.

The Pepper People

The Pepper People is a performance about the fear of energy transition and the secret identity of a great grandfather.

About the artists
Díó consists of artists  Aðalbjörg Árnadóttir and Ylfa Ösp Áskelsdóttir.
Their goal is to lend an epic flair to the everyday, while getting historical and personal facts just a tiny bit wrong.
Dío's performance Its Volleyball Hallelujah, premiered in 2016 at the international performing arts festival Everybody's Spectacular. The piece received two nominations for the Icelandic Theatre Award, for dance and stage movements of the year and as the Sproti of the year. The piece was then selected for the More More More program at Ice Hot 2018.
