Iceland Moves 2026 er vettvangur fyrir íslenskan samtímadans og kóreógrafíu sem miðar að því að auka sýnileika íslenskra dansverka, lengja líftíma þeirra og skapa ný tækifæri fyrir listafólk hér heima og erlendis. Iceland Moves fer fram samhliða Reykjavík Dance Festival og tengir þannig alþjóðlegt tengslanet hátíðarinnar við íslensku danssenuna. Alþjóðlegu fagfólki er boðið til Reykjavíkur til að upplifa verk, kynnast listafólki og mynda tengsl sem geta leitt til frekari sýninga, samstarfs og alþjóðlegrar dreifingar. Iceland Moves er samstarfsverkefni Sviðslistamiðstöðvar Íslands, Reykjavík Dance Festival, Íslenska dansflokksins og Dansverkstæðisins, í samstarfi við Íslandsstofu.
Iceland Moves 2026 is a platform for Icelandic contemporary dance and choreography that aims to increase the visibility of Icelandic dance works, extend their lifespan, and create new opportunities for artists in Iceland and internationally. Iceland Moves takes place alongside Reykjavík Dance Festival, connecting the festival’s international network with Iceland’s dance scene. International performing arts professionals are invited to Reykjavík to experience works, meet artists, and build relationships that can lead to further presentations, collaborations, and international touring. Iceland Moves is a collaboration between Performing Arts Centre Iceland, Reykjavík Dance Festival, Iceland Dance Company and Dansverkstæðið, in partnership with Business Iceland.
