Listafólkið Aude Busson, Sigríður Sunna Reynisdóttir, Embla Vigfúsdóttir og Björn Kristjánsson taka yfir Gryfjuna í Ásmundarsal til að vinna að sviðsverkinu Þú átt leik, nýju þátttökuverki fyrir börn og fullorðna. Verkið kafar ofan í leikjamenningu barna þvert á kynslóðir og kannar tengingu þeirra við sviðs- og gjörningalistir. Þú átt leik veltir upp spurningum um hver megi leika í leikhúsinu, hver horfir á og hvað gerist þegar þau mörk mást út. Í hljóðmynd verksins fléttast saman hljóðupptökur af viðtölum við börn og fullorðna við frumsamda tónlist eftir tónlistarmanninn Borko. Í Gryfjunni mun hópurinn rannsaka leikjamenningu, safna sögum og minningum fólks um leiki og auðvitað bjóða börnum og fullorðnum í leik. Klukk! Þú ert’ann!
Uppskeruhátíð vinnustofunnar verður haldin í Gryfjunni og Salnum á 2. hæð dagana 12. - 15. nóvember. Þar mun hópurinn sýna afrakstur vinnustofunnar í formi innsetningar og nokkurra pop-up gjörninga yfir helgina. Innsetningin opnar 12. nóvember kl. 16:00.
Aude Busson starfar sem sviðslistakona og verkefnastjóri. Hún útskrifaðist af sviðshöfundabraut Listaháskóla Íslands árið 2011. Aude hefur áhuga á snertifleti sviðslista við félagslegan veruleika okkar og verk sem fela í sér þátttöku áhorfenda að einhverju leyti. Síðasta verk hennar, Manndýr, hefur verið sýnt yfir 80 sinnum á Íslandi, Noregi, Frakklandi og í Finnlandi.
Sigríður Sunna Reynisdóttir er hönnuður og listrænn stjórnandi. Hún útskrifaðist vorið 2012 frá Royal Central School of Speech and Drama og hefur hannað fyrir fjölda sviðsverka æ síðan. Sunna er stofnandi ÞYKJÓ hönnunarstúdíós sem eru meðal annars þekkt fyrir rýmið Hljóðhimna í Hörpu og hlutu Hönnunarverðlaun Íslands 2024 fyrir Börnin að borðinu.
Björn Kristjánsson hefur í um langt skeið samið og flutt tónlist undir listamannsnafninu Borko og með hljómsveitum á borð við Rúnk, Skakkamanage og FM Belfast. Hann hefur samið tónlist fyrir sviðsverk hér heima og erlendis, tekið þátt í samsköpunarverkum og leikstýrt börnum og unglingum, en samhliða störfum við listina hefur Björn sinnt störfum á sviði menntunar.
Embla Vigfúsdóttir er vöru- og leikjahönnuður. Í verkefnum sínum nýtir hún oft aðferðir og hugsun úr leikjahönnun og setur í nýtt samhengi. Áður vann hún sem listamaður hjá Reykjavíkurborg, þar sem hún bjó til og leiddi vinnustofur með börnum og hélt sýningar. Í dag vinnur Embla hjá ÞYKJÓ en þar er henni hugleikinn leikur, ímyndunarafl og umhverfi barna.

The artists Aude Busson, Sigríður Sunna Reynisdóttir, Embla Vigfúsdóttir and Björn Kristjánsson Take over Gryfjan in Ásmundarsalur to do artistic research for Þú átt leik (en. Your turn)!, a new participatory performance piece for children and adults. The work delves into children’s play culture across generations and explores its connection to theatre and performance art. Þú átt leik raises questions about who gets to play in the theatre, who gets to watch, and what happens when those boundaries are blurred. The work’s soundscape weaves together audio recordings of interviews with children and adults with original music by musician Borko. In Gryfjan, the group will explore play culture, collect people’s stories and memories of games, and, of course, invite children and adults to play. Tag! You’re it!
The workshop’s finissage will take place in Gryfjan and Salurinn on the 2nd floor 12 to 15 November. Over the weekend, the group will present the outcome of the workshop in the form of an installation and several pop-up performances. The installation opens on November 12th at 4:00 p.m.
Aude Busson works as a performing artist and project manager. She graduated as a performance maker from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2011. Aude is interested in the intersection between the performing arts and our social reality, as well as works that involve audience participation to some degree. Her most recent work, Manndýr, has been performed more than 80 times in Iceland, Norway, France, and Finland.
Sigríður Sunna Reynisdóttir is a designer and artistic director. She graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in 2012 and has designed for numerous stage productions ever since. Sunna is the founder of the design studio ÞYKJÓ, known, among other things, for Hljóðhimnar at Harpa and the project Börnin að borðinu, which received the Icelandic Design Awards in 2024.
Björn Kristjánsson has composed and performed music for many years under the artist name Borko and with bands such as Rúnk, Skakkamanage, and FM Belfast. He has composed music for stage productions both in Iceland and abroad, participated in collaborative creation projects, and directed children and teenagers. Alongside his work in the arts, Björn has also worked in the field of education.
Embla Vigfúsdóttir is a product and game designer. In her projects, she often draws on methods and ways of thinking from game design and places them in new contexts. Previously, she worked as an artist for Reykjavík City, where she created and led workshops with children and held exhibitions. Embla now works at ÞYKJÓ, where play, imagination, and children’s environments are central to her work.
