Arcade game PONG is without doubt a monument of gaming history – but also we could say PONG is a lesser known monument and relic of choreographic history. There, between the two vertical lines and the roaming bouncing dot, we have ourselves perhaps one of the most primitive digital choreographies of all time.

This August, for Reykjavík Dance Festival, artist Atli Bollason and app designer Owen Hindley are set to revisit this monumental work and transform the south facing facade of the HARPA Music Hall into a giant Pong arcade machine.

Details on exactly how to take part in the work are to be found at www.harpapong.com
